Buckhorn Campground
Buckhorn Campground is located in the Black Butte Lake Recreation Area, 10 miles north of Orland, California. The recreation area offers a variety of activities such as fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. The campground consists of 38 sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring. There is a restroom with flush toilets, showers, and a dump station. Drinking water is available. A campground host is on site. There is a 14-day stay limit.
The campground opens in mid-April and closes at the end of October.
Reservations, fees: Reservations are not accepted for individual sites but are required for group sites. Sites are $12 per night, $9 per night with a federal senior pass; group sites are $90-$120 per night.
Orland Buttes Campground
Orland Buttes Campground is a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. The campground is situated on a bluff overlooking Black Butte Lake. There are many activities to enjoy at the campground, including fishing, hiking, and swimming. The campground also has a playground and a picnic area.
Orland Buttes Campground is located on the southern end of Black Butte Lake. The campground offers RV and tent camping sites and a group camping area for large gatherings. The campground has 45 campsites, including two walk-in tent sites. There are also two camping cabins available at the campground for overnight rental.
Orland Buttes Campground is open from April 1 to October 31.
The campground has a dump station, which is available for use by registered guests and day-use visitors. The dump station is located just off Highway 36, on the east side of the highway.
Camping Fees: $20 per night for a standard site with hookups and $130 per night for five to eight people.
