Lakes & Parks Use Fee Rates at Lake McClure
The permit charges are subject to change. Permits are available at the prices listed on April 30, 2022. The fee for a Small Pavilion is $75, and the fee for a Large Pavilion is $125. RV Park fees include electric hookups but not sewer/water hookups.
Military, Disabled, and Senior citizens are charged only $47 per night (the lowest rate). Fees are determined by the type of site, RV, or cabin. Fees vary depending on your location and the number of people that you want to stay with. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., so be sure not to make noise during those hours! Loud music may cause you to be evicted. Pets are allowed at a cabin but must be leashed and under control. Reservations include one vehicle of your choice; other fees for boats, pets, or extra vehicles will apply upon arrival.
Lake McClure Camping Public Safety Info
Campers need to make reservations online. A maximum of two cars and eight people per site is allowed on a reservation. Quiet hours are from 11 p.m.-to 7 a.m. All dogs must be leashed and under control at all times. Pets are not allowed on the cabin grounds. Reservations include one (1) vehicle, with other fees for boats, pets, etc., being charged upon arrival at the campsites.
General Camping Information
Campgrounds are open in winter and closed in summer. Campers can access campsites from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., except at McClure Point Campground, where the hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Accessible campsites are marked with a wheelchair symbol on the parking placard or license plate of the vehicle used to park in the space designated for persons with disabilities by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). If there is no parking placard or license plate, then contact the camp host for more information about accessibility features at that campground before you arrive.
McClure Point Campground

The McClure Point Campground is open year-round and operated by the Merced Irrigation District Parks Department. It offers free water and showers, a campsite map, and many attractions. The campground is located near the Merced River. Campers can go swimming in the lagoon or cool off with a swim in the main lake at McClure Point. There are free showers and toilets available at McClure Point Campground. The McClure Point Campground is a great place to visit for swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities. The campground is located around the lake and provides a beautiful view of the surroundings.

Yes, Campfires are allowed at Lake McClure as long as they are in a designated fire ring or other containment. Please be sure to extinguish all fires before leaving the area and observe campfire quiet hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Please note that fires containing invasive species should be obtained locally. Additionally, all dog owners must leash and attend to their dogs while at Lake McClure Camping.
